Last week we worked on starting our budget. We were to write down all of our income, fixed, and variable expenses. Your next task is to compile all of these numbers into a spreadsheet. I’ve attached an example. For the next couple of days, we’ll allow time to get all of these numbers compiled, and to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. It is extremely important that you get everything you can think of the first go around. Our goal is going to be to allocate all of your incoming money, so it all has a place to go, each and every month. By the way, this week is Thanksgiving. We typically have added expenses such as food, shopping, entertainment, etc. Since we’re beginning this budget, let’s get it off to a good start by keeping these to a minimum.
